Job Description


We are currently seeking a dynamic Chief Growth Officer to join our team.  The Chief Growth Officer will be responsible for setting Beacon strategy around business development, sales effectiveness, and the coordination of all sales and business development activities across the Company.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains all business development and analysis functions, optimizing the sales process through ongoing review and analysis of pipeline opportunities and outcomes.
  • Directs and oversees all sales recruitment and training programs to ensure maximum effectiveness of the sales force. 
  • Develops and maintains relationships with government officials, associated authorities and committees to ensure a two-way exchange of information about healthcare, behavioral healthcare and issues related to regulatory and legislative matters that impact Beacon business. 
  • Establishes and manages a corporate communications strategy and annual plans for all aspects of external communications including advertising, marketing, media relations, creative editorial and design services for website design.
  • Responsible for enterprise-wide Marketing initiatives. Leads a team that creates and develops a best in class marketing strategy to grow the business.
  • Works to identify new client opportunities and develop staff coverage ratios to optimally define sales strategies and priorities of coverage across multiple product markets and geographic areas, which ultimately produce the best results for Beacon growth.
  • Defines workflows and processes addressing client transition from sales, through implementation, and into an ongoing maintenance relationship with account management/client partnerships. 
  • Coordinates the bid/no bid review process with all functional areas to ensure contracts process flows smoothly for all departments.
  • Provides CEO and Board with business development, monthly reporting and trends, and growth forecasting and recommendations for opportunities as well as keeps the CEO informed of business development challenges.
  • As a strategic partner, identifies emerging issues in events or processes that impact company goals and develops strategies to resolve them, collaborating with other organizational areas as needed. 
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills and abilities, and develops those qualities in their management team through candidate selection, effective onboarding and training, goal setting and mentorship, as well as the ability to make course corrections when needed to get an individual or team back on track.
  • Demonstrates a strong business acumen and applies experiences managing large budgets and planning for achievement of short and long range strategic objectives.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with Beacon policies, procedures and company-sponsored annual programs such as compliance training, performance reviews and merit planning.
  • Assumes responsibilities for initiatives and events that emerge throughout the year.

Position Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required, Master’s degree is preferred 

Licensure:  None required

Relevant Work Experience:  At least ten (10) years of progressively responsible management experience in a healthcare and/or behavioral healthcare environment, most recently at the senior executive level.

Experience working in and managing a relevant combination of: sales, business development, operational effectiveness, strategic planning, market and client relationship development, sales operations, and the development, implementation and management of growth-directed strategies.
