Community Involvement

What is BEAM

Beacon Employees Advancing our Mission, BEAM, provides all team members with opportunities to give back to their local communities. Whether Beacon employees are participating in a company-wide initiative like the Awesome Beacon Bike Ride or working together in smaller groups through one of our 70 locations’ Employee Activity Committees, we make sure to provide employees with paid time off to give back. Operation BEAM supports all employee volunteer and advocacy work happening around the company.

BEAM Activities

BEAM allows our employees to continue the impressive work they’re already doing each day, and it energizes our volunteer efforts across the company by encouraging more employee participation.

Nami Walk

NAMIWALKS: For years, Beacon employees across the U.S. participate in yearly NAMIWalks events to raise money and awareness to support their local and regional National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).

Fundraising

FUNDRAISING: There are no limits to the causes in need of support. Whether it be children in need, the local food bank, or military families who have lost a loved one serving the country, Beacon employees advocate on the behalf of those who need it most.

"As an operations professional, it is great to work at a company where you can see how efficiencies developed, directly support the company’s mission of helping people live their lives to the fullest potential. "

"It’s been a pleasure having the opportunity to participate in the Employee Activities Committee. We are able to work hand in hand with our peers from various departments and collectively gather ideas and input to further engage employees, while boosting workplace morale. We strive for a happy, healthy, and fun work environment, in which our coworkers can say they’re proud to be a part of! "
