Job Description


We are currently seeking a dynamic Health and Performance Solutions (HPS) Manager to join our team at our office in Morrisville, NC.  The Health and Performance Solutions (HPS) Manager will be responsible for effective management oversight of the Health and Performance Solutions EAP service delivery.   In collaboration with leadership, ensures delivery of quality and consistent clinical assessment and referrals, organizational service delivery, and telephonic counseling/coaching in accordance with EAP policies and procedures. 

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Serves as clinical and EAP resource to HPS Supervisory Staff and EAP onsite clinicians. 

  2. Support HPS supervisor(s) in educating, orienting and training new clinicians, coaches, clinical support staff, workplace consultants, and clinical care management staff

  3. Acts as a HPS liaison with other operations departments and teams.

  4. Assist the HPS Director in maintaining an environment that encourages open communication and teamwork by demonstrating proactive leadership.

  5. Assist the HPS department in beta testing and implementing new products and new product enhancements that support health improvement goals of the members we serve.

  6. Assist supervisor(s) in conducting staff audits and ensuring high level of customer satisfaction and counselor/coach/care management quality.

  7. Responsibility includes helping to ensure that staff meets all performance standards, executing our EAP service level and contractual agreements.

  8. Interfaces with internal and external customers to ensure the highest standard of services.

  9. Fosters effective team management through development and maintenance of an environment encouraging personal involvement in planning, communications, coaching, and development of employees, sharing responsibilities and accountabilities to ensure effective contribution to department and company goals and objectives.

  10. Ensures all workflows are up to date and staff are consistently following processes.

  11. Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Education: This position requires a Master’s Degree, preferably in a behavioral health care field.   

Licensure:  Clinical licensure, valid and unrestricted in a State or territory of the United States in mental health field (RN, Ph.D., LCSW/ACSW, LLP, MHC, LPC, etc.).

Relevant Work Experience:   At least five (5) years of behavioral experience, including managed care experience in an ACD environment and/or a 24X7 call center.  Experience with EAP organizational services and management experience.
