Job Description


Facility Managers will be responsible for the management of all locations within their geographic area, ensuring the services and processes of each support the business philosophy and business function of Beacon Health Options. They ensure that the facility teams that oversee each location provide the most suitable working environment for the employees to achieve the required levels of productivity.

Position Responsibilities:

Manage the overall direction by participating, leading, and providing support in the following areas:

  • Project management and oversight of contractor efforts
    • Manage and oversee all construction projects to include, but not limited to, budget constraints and quality of the finished product
    • Solicit and procure, in conjunction with purchasing, all necessary vender requirements as they relate to the various construction or implementation projects.
    • Manage and oversee all physical aspects of implementation projects with respect to the space, necessary equipment and operational viability.
      • Coordinate and oversee all moves and relocation of employees whether it be 1 employee or 200
  • Develop annual Operating and Capital Expenditure Budgets for each site.
    • Utilization of resources
    • Cost comparisons
  • Planning for future development, strategic initiatives
  • Document preparation as required
  • Perform facility audits and EHS audits
  • Investigating service options
  • Building maintenance problem solving
    • Manage the daily operation and maintenance of the physical environment, to include cleaning, minor repairs, and other related employee issues
    • Manage and in many cases perform/arrange for preventative maintenance on HVAC, Plumbing, and Life Safety equipment
  • Ensure a proactive preventive maintenance program
  • Oversight and control of building access
    • Manage physical security and access control of the physical environment (as required)
  • Provide receptionist services as required
  • Provide mail room services as required

Position Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Relevant Work Experience:

- Ten years of experience in the facility management field

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment

- Demonstrated people, leadership and organizational skills with a track record of achievement

- Computer skills

- Available for afterhours responsibilities

- Available for extended periods of travel

- Demonstrated project management skills and experience

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Strong safety awareness and hazard determination skills

- Budgeting and cost analysis experience

- Physical abilities to meet daily job requirements
