ABOUT THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a dynamic Administrative Assistant - Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at our office in Rocky Hill, CT.  The Administrative Assistant – Front Desk Receptionist provides secretarial, clerical and administrative support to necessary personnel, including associates at Beacon Health Options/Connecticut Behavioral Health Partnership. Utilizes a variety of desktop technology skills and media to prepare, format and produce various documents/presentations.  Maintains protocol for processing in-coming and out-going mail. Maintains interdepartmental records and reports, supports transactional processing activities and responds to routine inquiries and/or requests. Provides additional support to Office Coordinator / Operations Administrator as needed.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Cover front desk from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
  2. Greet associates and guests in a professional and respectful manner. Maintaining a friendly and hospitable work environment.
  3. Sign-in and Sign-out all visitors & Maintain confidential visitors log
  4. Answer all incoming front desk calls in a timely manner and direct calls as necessary
  5. Sign for all incoming packages as necessary and inform employees of packages in the reception area
  6. Receive and sort daily mail
  7. Notify employees when guests are in the reception area
  8. Assist other office associates with special projects when needed
  9. Postage all outgoing US mail and prepare UPS packages as needed
  10. Maintain 3rd floor mail room – maintaining sufficient inventory of supplies and  keeping the room neat and clean
  11. Process requests from Beacon Associates for Conference Room space
  12. Respond promptly to office concerns and issues under the direction of office management
  13. Support / process various Connect to Care daily functions
  14. Utilize a variety of desktop technology skills and media to prepare, format and produce various documents/presentations
  15. Process Consumer & Family stipends for payment
  16. Performs other responsibilities as deemed necessary


Position Requirements:

  • : This position requires H.S. diploma.  Business degree preferred

Relevant Work Experience:  A minimum of three years in administrative support

Insert required/preferred minimum work experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Intermediate level of knowledge, skill and ability
