Job Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic Account Partnerships Director to join our team at the Austin, TX office.  The Account Partnerships Director will be responsible for the overall contractual and operational management of one or more specific Beacon Health Options Clients.  This is a leadership position.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all operations of the Beacon Health Options, our behavioral health provider (Beacon), assigned health plan

  • Coordinates development activities of new business and take full ownership of upsells within current client space

  • In conjunction with the Texas State Director and the Vice President of Client Partnerships, ensure contractual and delegation agreement compliance

  • Develops and executes annual strategic plan for each account

  • Reviews plan data analysis to develop and execute on clinical programs to achieve goals

  • Develops member outreach programs for Operations Manager and staff to execute

  • Negotiates provider contracts, directed by Woburn, as appropriate

  • Reviews and analyzes all client reports

  • Acts as lead subject matter expert on all plan contract requirements

  • Acts as liaison to state office operations/clinical

  • Responsible for all reporting requirements, such as reporting and analysis of program utilization and related performance indicators, as outlined in the contract and delegation agreements

  • Attends all contract meetings, as well as other external meetings with stakeholders

  • Coordinates with appropriate operational, clinical, and administrative staff to ensure resources and timely responsiveness for all assigned health plan business

  • Provides operational support to all staff connected to assigned health plan

  • Participated in internal Beacon operation meetings

  • Works closely with Director of Clinical Management and Director of Quality Management

  • Improves on all NCAQ/URAC initiatives; including acting as lead for some initiatives/standards

  • Assists in Network management activities as needed

Position Requirements:

Education: Master’s degree in mental health or related discipline is required.

Relevant Work Experience:  Four to five years behavioral health managed care experience. Proven ability to manage through financial and clinical data, analysis and action.
