About this Position   

We are currently seeking a dynamic Account Partnerships Analyst (Northeast region) to join our team at our office in Boston MA.

The Account Partnerships Analyst is responsible for delivering data-driven insights that drive value to clients and support client retention, growth and strategic initiatives.  Customer satisfaction and retention are top priorities for the Account Partnerships Analyst.  Working closely with the VP/AVP Account Partnerships, s/he is responsible for supporting annual account plan development and execution and other efforts to meet annual retention, revenue and profitability targets for designated clients.

The Account Partnerships Analyst provides strategic consultation through data mining, gap analyses, impact assessments and results measurement/tracking; performs data analyses in support of annual account plans or as requested, client report interpretation and drill down analyses; conducts policy research, analyses and impact assessments; and develops content and materials for and supports the VP/AVP Account Partnerships in delivering client presentations.  S/he also develops and manages client dashboards to monitor and report on key account metrics, deliverables and performance requirements; facilitates and monitors contractual and regulatory reporting requirements for assigned accounts; and manages ad hoc client reporting requests.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop strong client and internal relationships built on trust and collaboration
  • Work closely with the VP/AVP Account Partnerships to research and analyze strategic initiatives
  • Support annual account plan development and execution and efforts to meet annual revenue and profitability targets for designated clients through data mining and analysis
  • Working with the VP/AVP Account Partnerships, deliver data-driven insights that help drive the delivery of value to clients, including:
    • Providing strategic consultation on program design and enhancements
    • Supporting client initiatives through data mining, analyses, impact assessments and results measurement/tracking
    • Providing client report interpretation and drill down analyses
    • Conducting policy research, analyses and impact assessments
  • Develop and manage client dashboards to monitor and report on key account metrics (e.g. cost, utilization, operations, clinical), deliverables (e.g. provider contracting) and performance requirements (e.g. performance guarantees, SLAs)
  • Facilitate and monitor contractual and regulatory reporting requirements for assigned accounts
  • Manage ad hoc client reporting requests
  • Support the VP/AVP Account Partnerships in developing content and materials, preparing for and delivering client presentations

Position Requirements: 

Education:     The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (healthcare administration, behavioral sciences, business). A Master’s degree in a healthcare field or business is desired but not required. 

Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Three to five years of healthcare, insurance industry and/or managed behavioral healthcare or related experience, preferably in a sales/account management, consulting, strategy, or operations analyst role within a business that is either directly contracting with health plans, state/local government providing clinical or administrative services, or serving as a vendor to a state contractor for clinical or administrative services. 

Strong analytic and consultative capabilities are essential. 

The candidate must have a strong customer service orientation, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience using management information systems. 

Knowledge and experience related to clinical services will be beneficial. 

Travel required.
